Refund Policy for Lumin Insurance Agency, Inc. (Lumin)

At Lumin, we are committed to customer satisfaction and transparency in all our transactions. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted, the process for requesting a refund, and other important information related to refunds for our insurance products and services.

### Eligibility for Refund

- **Cancellation Within Cooling-off Period:** Customers are entitled to a full refund if they cancel their insurance policy within 30 days of purchase, provided that no claims have been made or are pending. This cooling-off period allows customers to reconsider their purchase decision.

- **Pro-rated Refunds for Cancellation:** If a customer chooses to cancel their insurance policy after the cooling-off period but before the policy term ends, they may be eligible for a pro-rated refund. The refund amount will be calculated based on the unused portion of the policy term, minus any administrative fees.

- **Refunds for Overpayment:** In the event of an overpayment on the premium, the excess amount will be refunded to the customer. This may occur due to a change in the policy details or an error in payment processing.

### Process for Requesting a Refund

1. **Notification:** To request a refund, customers must notify Lumin in writing or via email at info@luminsure.com. The request should include the policy number, the reason for the refund request, and any relevant documentation.

2. **Review:** Upon receiving a refund request, Lumin will review the request in accordance with our policies and the terms of the insurance contract. We may contact the customer for additional information if necessary.

3. **Processing:** If the refund request is approved, Lumin will process the refund through Stripe, crediting the amount to the original payment method used by the customer. Please allow up to [specify number] business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in the customer's account.

### Exceptions

- Refunds will not be issued for policies canceled due to non-payment of premium or fraud.
